Deputy Principal (Kelly Anderson)
NAIDOC Week - Reflection and Evaluation
The Cultural Inclusivity Committee would like to thank the entire staff for their support of NAIDOC Week. The CIC would like to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of Kristy Carriage in the organisation of the assembly and various events across the week. This year's NAIDOC celebrations built upon our efforts last year and we are very happy with what we have added to these celebrations of culture so far. We hope to continue to improve and evolve these events in the context of a whole school move towards better cultural inclusivity.
To aid us in making improvements, can you please complete the short feedback survey via the link provided? If you could do this by the end of Week 7, that would be greatly appreciated.
Future Leaders' Program
Did you know that we have an aspirants program in our school? There is an identification process run at the start of each year, followed by a nomination process, panel selection and then future leaders engage in a development goal and work with a mentor. If you are aspirational, make sure to let your line manager know, so that they can support you.
Future Leaders in the 2022 cohort are:
Kelly Anderson - aspiring to Level 5 or 6 Principal
Nic Andrew - aspiring to Level 3 Program Coordinator
Nghia Nguyen - aspiring to Level 3 Program Coordinator
Aaron Wilkinson - aspiring to Level 3 Program Coordinator
Kim Nimmo - aspiring to Level 3 Program Coordinator
Xan Ashbury - aspiring to Level 3 Program Coordinator
Note: Catherine Simmonds was originally in this group, but she achieved her goal, so she stepped away from the program to focus on her new role.
Reminder to current cohort - please complete your Progress Update for me as soon as possible.
If you are aspirational, but not sure what to do about it, please speak to your line manager, an experienced colleague, or a member of the Executive Team. You might find the below document useful.
