Bonjour à tous, and Wanju
Happy (belated) Mother’s Day to all the mothers for yesterday. I hope that you were able to enjoy the wonderful Autumn weather we have been experiencing. Personally, I got to see both my mothers who are in their 90’s. Every chance is a gift.
I am really grateful to the students and teachers of students doing NAPLAN this week. I wish them well and hope that the preparation that they have put in comes to fruition. Please encourage them and ask what we can do to enable them to get the best mark that they are able. We are all wishing them well.
As part of the Accountability Framework, there are two areas that we constantly focus on
- Quality Teaching
- Learning Environment
Kelly and Andrew now regularly provide you with information to keep you focused on those two areas within our school. In the coming week, the Quality Teacher Framework will be released. It has been released in a draft and school leadership teams are making comments and providing feedback.
Have a great week.

Nuts and Bolts
As the cold weather approaches please stay on top of the students with being in uniform. There are a number of winter cost options from the uniform shop. Please let me know if students cannot get any of the options that we have.
There was only one nomination for the staff board member position. Thank you and congratulations to Adam McGill.
I continue to encourage you to nominate for committees. These are a great way to have your voice heard, give input to the direction of the school and provide feedback. Currently, we have
- Finance committee
- Leadership Team (representation from your Learning Area meetings)
- School board
- Building and Grounds Committee
- Workload Advisory Committee
- Year 12 Presentation Night Committee
