Senior School Update

ALL Year 12s are finished!

A big thank you to all Year 12 teachers for your efforts throughout the year. We now focus on the Year 11 cohort in the lead up to their last days in Weeks 7 & 8.

Can I request that all students who are not demonstrating appropriate levels of work ethic and those that will not achieve at least a C grade are identified and parents are notified (Letters of Concern). I am currently reviewing overall performance and will be meeting with at risk students.

If a student is requested to attend a meeting in Student Services please allow them to leave class on the proviso that it is an appropriate time for “you”. I understand that at times a student is required in class. As an alternative, send them at the end of the lesson or ask them to come at the following lunch break.

It would also be an appropriate time to send Letters of Commendation to those students deserving of recognition!

Year 10 Update

A great deal of work has gone into setting up classes for 2022. I have sent a list of proposed ATAR students to PCs. After exams (Week 5), I will be re-counselling students who are identified as at risk of not succeeding within an ATAR pathway. I am requesting that PCs provide me with a list of students in Week 6 so I can complete that process. I would also encourage teachers to also provide ongoing feedback to those students with ATAR aspirations!

Have a great week
