Parent – Teacher Afternoon

A reminder this Thursday from 3:30-5:30 is our Semester 2 Parent Meetings. Rachel has sent out your log ins, parents have until today to make their bookings.

A small afternoon tea will be provided in the staff room from 3pm, a free coffee for teaching staff is also available.

After feedback from teachers and parents, we are hoping to ensure our meetings are running on time and we are adhering to our interview schedules.

If you have spare blocks of time during the meeting then you can be more flexible, but for many staff who are fully booked or close to it, it is important to stick to the allocated parents at the allocated times.

Please also keep in mind that while you may not have a parent meeting scheduled straight after your current meeting, the parent you are speaking to might.

Relief Lessons

It was great to get some feedback on last weeks article about leaving more detailed relief notes in Compass for our colleagues when we are absent, both about the lesson details and student information.

To the feedback I received, YES, I agree we also need to ensure our relief teachers, and internal relief staff are showing up to the classes on time, and delivering the lesson as outlined in the relief notes.

If you are having difficulty with this, please speak with your PC.

A reminder to please ensure relief notes for the whole day are entered into Compass before 8:30am, and to use the relief lesson template, attached.
