Community Services Program (Peta King)

Community Services Program

This year we are implementing a Community Services Program for our students.

The aim of this program is to recognise all the amazing things that our students do to make our community a better place to live. This program is open to all students; however, those in Years 10 – 12 can complete this program as an Endorsed Program which can contribute toward their WACE.

I am happy to come and meet with you or attend your Learning Area meetings to let you know how you can jump on board. There are many activities already happening across the school that the students are going to be able to include. Examples are:

  • The community art projects
  • Band performances
  • Prefect fundraising activities
  • Possum habitats created by the SHED
  • And I am sure there are many more…

Students and their parent/guardians will receive information via Connect and the Compass notices. If you know of students who volunteer their time, it would be great if you could encourage them to read the information and register their interest (link is in the Connect notice).

If you would like to learn more about how you or your learning area can support this, please send an email to Peta King with preferred times.
