Cyberbullying on TikTok

download.png
After recently exploring TikTok due to a parent complaint, it was discovered that there are several accounts set up by students, some using the BSHS logo. The Executive Team will be reporting those who have used the school logo. There are many accounts being set up for the sole purpose of bullying other students. If we can identify who has set up these accounts, there will be follow up by Student Services.

There are also many accounts with photos or videos of students in their classrooms or on school grounds. This isn't against the school rules, if it is a project being run by the teacher, and is being closely monitored. It seems, however, that there is a lot of content that has likely been created without teacher awareness. Some students may be using their iPads to create this content. Please do what you can to limit phone use in the classroom, and please monitor and report any cyberbullying issues to Student Services.
