Asbestos Awareness

We are required to provide all staff with the Asbestos Awareness Factsheet, below. It details what asbestos is and how we manage it at the school level.

The school is asbestos compliant. We maintain a current asbestos register, available to all tradesmen who conduct work on our site, and relevant staff are trained in appropriate management procedures as required.

Lift shaft installation

The exterior construction of the quadrangle lift is now complete; all that remains is some minor landscaping in the quad.

The interior lift shaft will now be installed, taking approx 4 weeks to complete.

A small works compound will be set up in the Home Ec car park on Friday 16 September, a sea container will be delivered and temporary fencing will be erected in the four parking bays facing the corridor outside rooms 24 and 25. It will impact parking week 10 term 3 and week 1 term 4, with most of the work occurring during the school holidays.

The disabled bay will be temporarily relocated to the first bay facing room 19.

After 100 years of life without a lift, we are almost there!
