A New Year Begins......again!
Ready - Set - Begin....Again!

Post Lock Down Operating Conditions
Congratulations and well done to our Sout West Community. It is amazing what can be achieved when we all work together. It is with great pleasure that I announce that on Monday, 8 February, our school will re-open. We very much look forward to welcoming our students and staff back to start the 2021 school year. As advised by the Premier and Director General of Education, students and staff in the Southwest are not required to wear a mask.
To keep our school community safe from COVID please stay home if you are not well. It would be prudent to have a COVID test also.
The new access road from the bus stops leading up to the school is almost but not quite complete. To ensure those students arriving by bus access the school safely, please remind them to keep to the left on the access road. This will keep them clear of work vehicles still in the area.
The first day assembly will run as prepared, but parents attending are asked to make sure that they adhere to social distancing requirements. At all other times if you are visiting the school, please log into the Pass Tab platform in administration.
Essentially, the South West will be returning to pre lock down conditions. Enjoy what is left of the extended break.

FIRST DAY REMINDER

The first day of school begins with a whole school assembly. Parents are invited to attend our outdoor amphitheatre venue. The year starts with the traditional ringing of the bell by our youngest students to signal that school is in. The student leaders are presented to the student body and the stage is set for our new year to begin. Students are then moved off to year groups where timetables are distributed, lockers assigned and a myriad of other administration tasks are completed, ready to begin.
