A New Year Begins
Ready - Set - Begin !

Kaya wanju all to a new year. With a new year comes new beginnings. I would like to start the year by inviting all parents and community members to download our Schoolzine app. We understand that now more than ever, it’s essential for our school to have effective and efficient communication channels available to our school community - accessible anywhere, anytime. Our communication platform "Schoolzine" offers that and more! We encourage you to download the SZapp so that you have access to the latest news and events as well as important links in one convenient app.
You will find it at https://www.schoolzine.com/szapp-installation
The app is pivotal to receiving regular communication from the school and links you to all other electronic platforms used by the school.
The 5 “P’s, Prior preparation prevents poor performance” is a pertinent saying to get our students started on the road to a successful year. This mini newsletter is designed to provide some essential information that you will need for the beginning of the school year.
ADMINISTRATION OPENING HOURS

During the week of starting the 25th January some staff will be on site. Admin staff from the 25th January, school leadership team from the 27th January and teaching staff from the 28th of January.

FIRST DAY PROCEDURES

School starts for all students on Monday, 1st of February. The first day of school begins with a whole school assembly. Parents are invited to attend our outdoor amphitheatre venue. The year starts with the traditional ringing of the bell by our youngest students to signal that school is in. The student leaders are presented to the student body and the stage is set for our new year to begin. Students are then moved off to year groups where timetables are distributed, lockers assigned and a myriad of other administration tasks are completed, ready to begin.
